The Foster Barn

Our Foster Barn, operated in partnership with Gainesville Pet Rescue, is a very special place for dogs and puppies who need just a little extra time and attention to get ready for their forever homes.

Foster Barn residents include moms with new litters, dogs in heartworm treatment, or pets recovering from surgery and other health conditions. These animals receive individualized support and socialization during their stay at the Foster Barn before moving back into the Adoptions population at GPR.
